Nexen tire has been collaborating with the Beautiful Store Foundation for the Zero Waste Campaign since 2021, a program in which employees donate goods to the Beautiful Store, with proceeds going to charity.
The Beautiful Store Foundation is a Korean nonprofit organization and charity shop that was launched in 2002. Following the model of the Oxfam shop, the foundation now operates more than 100 stores across Korea.
Following the Zero Waste campaign, the "Beautiful Forest" project was founded to create a sustainable environment by planting trees on land that lacks natural purification capabilities, raising awareness about the importance of the global environment, improving air quality, and restoring ecosystems.
Furthermore, the "Beautiful Forest" project was created based on donations from NEXEN TIRE executives and employees, as well as proceeds from the sale of beautiful store stores through the Zero Waste campaign.
As a result, 250 trees were planted at No-eul Park in Nanjido, Seoul!
NEXEN TIRE will continue to help keep the environment clean.
