NEXEN TIRE presented to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation 300 blood donor cards donated by company executives and employees.
The donated blood donation card will be used for child cancer patients who require blood transfusions during treatment. A blood donation card is a certificate given by a blood source when donating blood. It is helpful for patients in need of blood transfusion because it allows them to deduct their own contributions, such as blood packs from the cost of blood transfusion.
"We hope that the blood donation certificates collected by executives and employees will help children with cancer," NEXEN TIRE representive stated. "We plan to continue to carry out various ESG management activities to fulfill our social responsibilities in the future."
Over the years, NEXEN TIRE Korea employees at the Nexen Central R&D facility, as well as the Yangsan and Changnyeong plants, have participated in blood donation campaigns.
