Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. (NYSE: MSGS) announced today a multi-year marketing partnership with NEXEN TIRE, naming one of the leading global tire manufacturers an Official Tire Partner of the National Hockey League (NHL) team, New York Rangers, beginning the 2023-24 NHL season.
As part of the collaboration, the NEXEN TIRE logo will be featured on a variety of marketing assets such as digitally enhanced dasherboads, billboards, signage at the Madison Square Garden, in-arena branding, and more. Furthermore, the tire maker will work with the team for several engaging and one-of-a-kind on and offline initiatives for the fans. Not only that, NEXEN TIRE will be given inclusion across Rangers digital assets from Facebook to Twitter and Instagram for amplification.
Founded in 1926, the Rangers are one of the "Original Six" National Hockey League teams and have won four Stanley Cup championships. The New York Rangers recently kicked off their 2023-24 season, which will feature an 82-game regular season slate.
