NEXEN TIRE announced that it has become the “Tire Maker Champions” at the CJ Logistics SUPERRACE Championship (SUPERRACE Championship) 2023 in the SUPER 6000 class.
For the first time in the 2022 season, the "Tire Maker Championship" was established by awarding the season's champions to the tire maker who scored the most points by adding the points earned in each round by the top five players in the SUPER 6000 class.
NEXEN TIRE has signed a tire supply agreement with professional racing teams Seohan GP, NEXEN-VOLLGAS Motorsports, and CJ Logistics Racing for the 2023 season. NEXEN TIRE finished on the podium thirteen times this season. In addition, a player who used NEXEN TIRE won six fastest lap awards out of eight rounds per year.
And in the final 8th round, Jae-hyun Kim of NEXEN-VOLLGAS Motorsports, equipped with NEXEN TIRE's N’FERA SS01 – a slick tire dedicated to ultra-high-performance racing that provides excellent road grip and braking power even in extreme driving environments – demonstrated its racing excellence by taking first place.
