- N'FERA Supreme S premium tire fitted as strategic partnership expands
SEOUL, South Korea, June 15, 2026 –NEXEN TIRE, a leading global tire manufacturer, announced that it has been selected to supply original equipment (OE) tires for the facelifted version of Hyundai Motor Company’s flagship sedan, ‘The New Grandeur.’
The supplied tire is N'FERA Supreme S, NEXEN TIRE's UHP(Ultra High Performance) tire for premium vehicles. Following its supply of OE tires for the initial version of the seventh-generation Grandeur, NEXEN TIRE will continue its collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company on its flagship sedan through the supply of OE tires for the facelifted version.
The New Grandeur, Hyundai Motor Company's flagship sedan, is the facelifted version of the seventh-generation Grandeur, featuring the Seamless Horizon Lamp, Pleos Connect, the company's next-generation infotainment system, and other enhancements to strengthen its product competitiveness.
The N'FERA Supreme S is equipped with sound-absorbing materials incorporating NEXEN TIRE’s proprietary NRS (Noise Reduction System) technology, effectively reducing resonance noise generated during driving. In addition, its AI big data-based low-noise pattern design minimizes the inflow of road noise and vibrations into the cabin, delivering enhanced quietness and ride comfort.
The tire also incorporates AI-based load distribution technology and a 4D compound to provide outstanding grip and high-speed driving stability. Optimized sipe and groove designs help maintain stable performance even after wear, while the aerodynamic sidewall design reduces rolling resistance and improves fuel efficiency.
The company has also expanded its collaboration with Hyundai Motor’s premium lineup by supplying the N'FERA Supreme S for flagship models including ‘The All-New Palisade’ SUV and ‘The All-New NEXO,’ Korea’s first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell electric SUV. The supply of OE tires for The New Grandeur also marks a continuation of this strengthened strategic partnership.
